1-Day Stirling Castle, Kelpies and Loch Lomond

On this incredible tour, we explore the beautiful Scottish Highlands seeing castles, lochs, sculptures and perhaps some ‘Hairy Coos’ along the way.

Departing Edinburgh on an air-conditioned bus (16-34 seats) we head towards the iconic Kelpies, where you can take a close up look at these magnificent sculptures.

We make our way towards Balloch, situated to the south of Loch Lomond’s Bonnie Banks. Here you can explore and take an optional hour-long boat cruise on the loch.

Departing Loch Lomond we head towards the quaint village of Aberfoyle before exploring the picturesque Duke's Pass.

Passing through Callander we make our way to Stirling where you can either take a stroll around the city centre or visit the historic Stirling Castle.

Heading back we stop to catch a glimpse of the famous 3 bridges that span the River Forth before returning to Edinburgh

Check-in for your tour is at 8:15 AM, tour departs at 8:30 AM.


Please meet your Hairy Coo tour bus in front of Burns Monument on Regent Road.




  • Children must be over 7 years of age. You may be asked to provide photo ID for proof of age.




  • We are unable to wait for latecomers, missed tours are non-refundable. If you are arriving at the departure point by taxi or local bus please allow extra time in case of delays.




  • Tour concludes back at Regent Road, at approximately 6.30 PM. We recommend allowing 2 hours for any onward travel in case of delays.

ON TOUR

  • Bring warm and/or waterproof clothing, no matter what the forecast appears to be…Scotland’s weather is very unpredictable!

  • You are welcome to bring along a handbag or backpack on the tour, but we would advise keeping this bag as light and small as possible to maximise your comfort onboard.

  • Please note that while picturesque and quaint, many of the suppliers in smaller towns across the Highlands do still prefer cash payments.

  • There will be food available at some stops, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks, drinks or cold packed lunch.
