SL-ES Glasgow, Loch Lomond and Loch Katrine - Spanish Tour Guide

From Edinburgh to the Kelpies

The first stop will be in Falkirk to visit the Kelpies, the largest equine sculptures in the world.

We will enjoy a pleasant walk along the Carron River and learn about the origin of these mythological creatures and the meaning artist Andy Scott has given them in his homage to the working horses of the area.

Loch Katrine

Lake Katrine is said to be the most beautiful loch in Scotland and has certainly been a source of inspiration for all who have visited it. Here, lovers of literature will rediscover the charm of Sir Walter Scott's novels, reliving the hiding place of the great Scottish hero Rob Roy, or following in the footsteps of Roger and Brianna in Outlander. A lake whose charm has seduced everyone: including the austere Queen Victoria!

Admission for the boat tour is not included in the excursion price.

Loch Lomond

Our journey will continue through the Trossachs National Park to Balloch, on the shores of the UK's largest lake, Lough Lomond, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Scotland, where 19th century British high society chose these places to build their summer residences.

Glasgow

At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, it was the second most important city in the British Empire, a hugely important industrial and financial centre and the scene of the most exasperating social contrasts. The splendour and variety of its architecture has made Glasgow one of the most versatile locations in Scotland. We will travel through it on a panoramic tour that will take us to see the Tolbooth Tower, the banks of the River Clyde, the SSE Hydro, the Kelvingrove Museum, the University and the beautiful surrounding park, contrasting with the buildings of the post-industrial present. We will stop in the heart of the city: the elegant George Square, for a salute to the famous statue of the Duke of Wellington.

From Glasgow to Edinburgh

After an intense day of travelling, through time and through some of Scotland's most fascinating places, we will conclude our journey on the Royal Mile.
